Botanica

This is one of my new favorites…..perfect balance of botanical and musk.

I can’t stop putting this perfume on! I think, on my exploration of perfumes, I’ve discovered that I just really enjoy a perfume with more emphasis on the mid and base notes, and less top note. It’s probably why some of my favorite scents when I was younger have been musks, patchoulis, ambers, and my #1, the now discontinued Cannabis Rose by Fresh. I like scents that are earthy and fresh more than overly floral, and this one just appeals to me in every way. It’s more refined than the hippie oils I once favored, but delights my senses in a similar way, with those pronounced mid and base notes that make me want to breathe it in deeply. This was the one I chose to buy a full bottle of.

Smells so mossy, green & not overtly pungent in an overpowering way. Perfect for women but honestly can be worn by a man as well.

Wonderful smell, the ladies love it.

This one took a few wears to grow on me. At first I thought the lemon opening was a bit harsh, almost like an industrial soapy kind of smell. After about 15 minutes though that part fades, and the green tea, jasmine and oakmoss notes come out to play while it settles down into a wonderfully smooth fragrance. Botanica just smells clean, green and airy without having to shout its presence to the world.
